Project overview

Located on the ground floor of OXIA Business Center, OXIA Coffee was conceived as more than a place for a quick break. As part of the building’s shared social environment, it offers tenants and visitors a setting for informal meetings, short periods of work and moments of pause throughout the day. Its design extends the wider interior identity of OXIA while introducing a more relaxed hospitality character.
Rather than following a conventional linear café layout, the interior is shaped by soft geometries and flexible seating settings. Oval forms in the lighting and furniture create a visual rhythm that softens the open-plan environment and connects the café with the lounge and adjacent common areas.

Materiality and lighting balance the professional context of the business centre with a warmer, more informal atmosphere. Green accents and integrated planting bring freshness to the interior, while ambient and focused lighting define different zones without separating them physically. Exposed ceiling elements retain a subtle industrial character, contrasting with the softer furniture and finishes below. The café supports several modes of use throughout the day. Alongside conventional seating, it functions as an alternative workplace and informal meeting area, allowing people to sit individually, gather in small groups or use the space between meetings. This flexibility transforms the café from an amenity into an active part of the workplace ecosystem. As part of the broader OXIA Business Center interior, OXIA Coffee maintains its own distinct atmosphere while contributing to a continuous
experience across the ground floor. The result is a compact hospitality space that brings together social interaction, everyday work and moments of pause within a calm, contemporary setting.
